CHEVROLET CHIP KEYS  Most cars AFTER 1988 had a VATS chip, a black, pellet-like chip imbedded in the key near the head.  Without the correct chip in the key, the starter is disabled.  Those cars include:  CAMARO, Z28, CORVETTE, IMPALA, CAPRICE, LUMINA, MONTE CARLO, BUICK CENTURY, LESABRE, PARK AVENUE, REGAL, RIVIERA, REATTA, ROADMASTER, OLDSMOBILE AURORA, CUTLASS SUPREME, 88, REGENCY, TORONADO,  AND VIRTUALLY ALL CADILLACS.  Cars manufactured after 2000 have a transponder chip hidden in the keys head.  Without this chip present, the fuel cutoff is activated.  These cars include: MALIBU, MONTE CARLO, VENTURE, BUICK LACROSS, LESABRE, PARK AVENUE, RANIER, RENDEZVOUS, TERRAZA. CADILLAC CATERA, CTS, DEVILLE, SEVILLE, SRX, STS, OLDSMOBILE AURORA & SILHOUETTE.  We can help you with these too, ust give us a call.

CHRYSLER DODGE/JEEP  Many cars manufactured after 1998 had transponder chips hidden in the head of the key.  If the correct chip is not present, the can will not start.  The list includes: CIRRUS, CONCORDE, CROSSFIRE, LHS, 300, NEW YORKER, PT CRUISER, SEBRING, TOWN 7 COUNTRY, INTREPID, MAGNUM, NEON, STRATUS, DURANGO, VISION, CHEROKEE, GRAND CHEROKEE, LIBERTY WRANGLER.  We can help you with those.  Chip or not, we can help you.  Give us a call.
